c) Neighbourhood Plan update from Councillor Little: to note that now that it is possible to meet people face to face, the Neighbourhood Planning Group are planning a series of meetings with villagers. Unfortunately, the first one had to be cancelled because of a health scare. We will be meeting again soon and will report more fully to the next Council meeting.

Condition 3. The works hereby permitted shall consist solely of the following:
a) reduction in tree height by 3m. The works shall not exceed that depicted in the attached annotated photograph, to ensure the works are not excessive and do not detract unnecessarily from the appearance of the tree or the amenity it affords.
b) crown lifting to the statutory 5m height over the highway.

Reason for Refusal:
The removal of overhanging branches would have a potential detrimental impact on the appearance of the tree and the public amenity it provides, no reasons have been put forward to support this pruning operation and the harm is considered not to be justified.
